After a disappointing loss in their season opener, the Lady Bears (1-1) defended their home turf well as they defeated the visiting Manor Lady Mustangs 37-27
Leading Manor 12-6 at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Bears took control, scoring 14 points and allowing only 2 points in the second quarter alone.
However in the fourth quarter the Lady Mustangs fought ha

rd to give themselves a chance, allowing only 2 points and cutting the lead down to 10, but the Bears prevailed the close out the game.
