The parents on this team need to be honest and not place blame on one or two children, this is a team, a winning team, and they were frustrated on Tuesday , if it was football they would have been there Wednesday morning working hard and getting those attitudes readjusted : that is what makes a team a team. I attended the Westlake game and both players said some things they shouldn’t have. High school sports aren’t always about winning, it’s about having fun and the learning experience. P.S. Bastrop won their game tonight against the Anderson Trojans, there is a ton of talent on the team outside of Gracy Mansfield. Kattie Patterson scored 3 goals tonight! Wonder how bad the score will be next time considering it was 4 to 1 with Gracy Mansfield and the simple fact she was the one who scored the lone goal, and Heather Greene was the player who assisted. I think their coach made a horrible decision not only for the girls sake but for the Bastrop Lady Bear organization as well. Hmmm?
