We all at 181st Trans Bn have been keeping in touch with each other about this story and we are completely shocked by it. Our unit was disbanded in 2007, to be turned over to the German government, but when this tragedy erupted, we got back in touch with each other again. He was one of us. Please keep in touch with us, as we'd like to know what really happened to Pvt. Van Dyke. There are a lot of us on Facebook that would like to know the outcome. Pvt VanDyke was a gentle person.
