GATESVILLE — Elgin pitcher Sarah Johson was a part of two no-hitters Friday during action at the Gatesville Tournament.
Johnson pitched a complete game no-hitter in a 4-0 win over Lampasas and combined with Lauren Slatten for a no-hitter in a 15-0 win over St. Michael’s Academy.

Lady Bears split games in Abilene
ABILENE — The Bastrop Lady Bears opened the 2010 Abilene Tournament with a 6-1 loss to Pampa on Thursday, but rebounded Friday morning with a 3-0 win over Canyon. Jordan Mundine had a total 25 strikeouts and Jessica Cooke has scored two runs in the tournament.
