The Tribe Consolidated varsity basketball teams are heading to the Texas Christian Athletic League State Tournament this weekend.
The T-CAL State Tournament begins Thursday at the Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxhachie.
The boys will play their first game Friday at 11:30 a.m. against Sherman Grayson Christian School in the Class 1A division.
The Warriors are the Gulf Region champions, winning all eight games.
Isaiah Tyler enters the tournament averaging 31 points per game.
The boys team consists of Tyler, Vance Ray, Jonathan Jones, Willie Helm, Darby Plentl, Nick Loudenbeck and Kevin Jabonski.
With a win in their quarterfinal, Tribe Consolidated will take on the winner of Sulphur Springs C.H.E.S.S. and Boerne Vanguard Christian Institute.
The championship game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
The girls basketball team will enter their first state tournament after winning just one game in 2008-2009.
The Lady Warriors will take on Mount Pleasant C.H.A.A.M.P. Thursday in the first round of the tournament. The game is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Senior Jenna Ritchie has been the force of the team averaging 15 points per game.
Tribe Consolidated finished second in the Gulf Region.
