Gladys Louise Elgord Robbins, 93, formerly of Bastrop County, died Feb. 20, 2010. She was born June 9, 1916 in San Antonio. She was the mother of three children, seven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband by William Raymond Robbins and by her son, William Burton Moody. She is survived by daughters Ann Louise (Jimmie) Knox of Campwood and Mary Eleanor Massey of Round Rock.
A celebration of her life was held Feb. 24, 2010 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Alum Creek Cemetery in Bastrop with Pastor Jim Brown officiating.
