Jewel Fowler White, 101, of Bastrop, died Feb. 17, 2010 at Lakeside Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1908 in Utley to the late Dock and Hattie Fowler. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Feb. 26 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church in Cedar Creek. Services will be Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Providence District Tabernacle in Cedar Creek.
