A Bastrop man, and registered sex offender, who allegedly forced a female acquaintance to have sex against her will with a disabled man last November, has been indicted by the Bastrop County Grand Jury.
Jesse James Rodriguez, 39, was indicted by the grand jury Feb. 16 for sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child, exposure.
Rodriguez was previously convicted of indecency with a child (eight-year-old female), according to the Texas Sex Offender Registry.
According to his most recent indictment this month, and accounts provided in a probable cause affidavit filed in December 2009, Rodriguez told the woman he would harm her children if she refused to engage in sex with the disabled man on Nov. 28, 2009.
The woman also told investigators that on a previous occasion in Austin, Rodriguez forced her to have sex with a stranger by threatening to harm her infant child if she refused.
The indecency with a child exposure indictment stems from an incident in July of 2008 when Rodriguez allegedly exposed his genitals to a child younger than 17.
