Martha Ann Alexander Glasson, 72, of Brownwood, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010. She was born Jan. 1, 1937 in Donna, the daughter of the late Thomas Floyd and Maggie Laura Davis Lagrone. She married Joe Ned Alexander at Austin on March 4, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1995. She later married Doyle Glasson in Brownwood on Feb. 11, 2000. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 2004, having previously lived in Bastrop.
Funeral services were Monday, March 1.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Glasson of Brownwood; sons, Ricky (Marlette) Alexander of Needville, Keith (Gina) Alexander of Spring, John (Misty) Alexander of Waco, James Alexander of Hornsburg, S.C. and Thomas (Mary) Alexander of Brownwood; sister, Stella Birch of Milano; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
She was also preceded in death by brother, Thomas Floyd Lagrone Jr. and sister, Marilyn Alford.
