Our animal shelter is not a free enterprise endeavor. It does not compete with other shelters, it works in consort with other shelters to provide a vital public service and to meet a tremendous need. That said, please support your shelter through donations and service. Have you pets spayed or neutered. Do not purchase a dog from a puppy factory. Take a stroll through the kennels and find a friend for life. Shelter fees should not be “competitive with other shelters”. Our animal shelter is not a free enterprise endeavor.
