Betty J. “Mrs. Bob” Kinsey, 77, of Bastrop, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.  She was born Jan. 27, 1933 in Hondo to Roy William and Addie Manila (Moss) Breiten.

Betty and her husband, Bobby Earl known as “Hamburger Bob” married on Dec. 31, 1948 in New Braunfels.  They owned and operated over 13 restaurants.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Ronald Kinsey and one sister.

Survivors include sons, Rodney (Sami) Kinsey of Garfield and Roger (Joslyn) Kinsey of El Sequindo, Calif.; daughter, Karen Kinsey (Tommy) Alford of Cedar Creek; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 17 at McCurdy Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m..

Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Kinsey officiating.  Interment will follow at Bunton Cemetery in Dale.
