Carole B. Hellums Bryant, 72, died Saturday, Aug. 21, in Round Rock. She was born in Austin on Feb. 7, 1938 to Pearl Hughes and William Ethelstone Hellums. She was married to Robert Earl Bryant for 42 years. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Beth (Bruce) Boring of Marietta, Ga.,  Barbara Wolanski of San Antonio, Becky (Danny) Buzzard of Round Rock and Belinda (Ralph) Parker of McKinney; sister, Sarah Hellums Burns of Austin; brothers, William (Carol) Hellums of San Francisco, Calif. and Pat (Cheryl) Patton of Austin; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
