What a priceless picture on the front page of the Thursday, Aug. 12 Bastrop Advertiser by Cyndi Wright, entitled “Anticipation!”  It was of seven wonderful kids sitting on the curb waiting for the parade to appear.

Thank you to the Bastrop Homecoming Committee for providing a hometown event for the entire family and community.  Thanks, also, to the parents and kids who created the float for Calvary Episcopal School that won a first place blue ribbon.  What a great place to live!
