It seemed like old times. Following my letter to the editor on Feb. 13 concerning the issue of establishing an extension of the Austin Community College in Bastrop County, I received a phone call from Tom Scott inviting me to coffee to discuss the ACC project.

In my opinion, this election is not about giving your children a cheaper higher education, it is about increasing the size of ACC, thus increasing the pay of those in charge of running the college.
